Forever Faithful Ranch

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

At Forever Faithful we believe horses have a spiritual significance in which the human / horse relationship offers an opportunity for emotional, psychological and spiritual transformation.   Through our horses, we have seen people of all ages develop trust, communication, boundaries, love, empathy, social skills, patience, honesty, conflict resolution and teamwork.
Our services are available for children and adults of all ages who wish to be happier, healthier and at peace with one’s self and others around them.

What is EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy)?

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is a combined effort between a horse or horses, a licensed mental health therapist, and an equine specialist who work together with the client to address a number of treatment needs.  The clients learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with horses on the ground, and then processing (or discussing) feelings and behaviors.  EAP is appropriate for all ages and stages of life.  All sessions take place on the ground.

No horse experience is necessary.
Note:  Because of its intensity and effectiveness, EAP should be continued with routine therapy.

EAP is an effective model for:

Anger Management

Couples Therapy
Conflict Resolution
At-Risk Youth
Victims of Abuse
Confidence and Self Esteem
Family Therapy
